We haven't fruited this mushroom culture since it was just collected and cleaned up in the fall of 2020. This is the only mushroom culture we're offering that we haven't fruited, but it's mycelium runs extremely fast. We wanted to make sure everyone had access to this strain as soon as possible.
This strain was named after a friend, considering it was found in the middle of his lawn, with no shade, growing on an ash tree stump that was underground. On the day we found it, we had hiked most of the day looking for this mushroom in the woods to return and find it right under our noses. The irony was thick, but what a great way to end the day.
