Lion's Mane is an awesome mushroom; need we say more. This commercial strain fruits on average, 1.5 lbs of mushrooms during the first flush from a 5 lb supplemented sawdust block. Lion's Mane has a similar taste and texture to crab meat making it a favorite in the kitchen. This mushroom colonizes quickly, within 2 weeks, and wants to fruit immediately after full substrate colonization takes place.

Fruiting Substrates:
-Masters mix (50/50 hardwood sawdust & soybean hulls)
-Hardwood sawdust & wheat bran @ 20% supplementation

Colonizing Temperature:
65 to 78 F

Fruiting Temperature:
50 to 78 F

Fruiting Humidity:
80 to 95%

Air Exchanges:
4 to 8 per hour

All commercial liquid cultures come in a sterile syringe containing 10-12ml of live mushroom liquid culture (living mycelium in a nutrient solution). The syringe is capped and a sterile needle is included. Liquid cultures are guaranteed to be 100% clean and actively growing!

Commercial cultures have been tested for growing performance and biological efficiency to measure colonization speed and ensure that mushroom yields produce up to commercial standards. We don't sell it if we can't grow it and produce consistent commercial results.

Nothing growing

The liquid in the syringe felt hot upon arrival. Wrote to Cloud Culture and was told that it loses viability over 100 deg F. Why in the world sell this product during the warm weather if it won't be viable upon arrival?

I ve tried a couple different strains of Lions Mane from a couple different companies over the years and none have been worth it. Along comes this bad boy from Cloud Culture and I gotta say its a beast. I ve added this along with a couple other commercial strains from CC as the only LC we use for all our shrooms at The Frugal Fungi (Chicago, IL)

Pending completion of growth

10 days post inoculation and not even the slightest sign of growth in any of my grain spawn jars. On the plus side, 0% contamination so at least the syringe was prepared with proper aseptic technique.
Update: new LC RCVD with good growth, albeit slower than other genetics I've played with. I'll see how it fruits. I really appreciate the effort these guys put into customer support. I hope this works.

I’ve been searching for good quality Lion’s Mane for years, and I’m not really one to write reviews. However, what CC Mushrooms has to offer is by far the best product I’ve ever come across.
